This event will take place over an afternoon at Love Church in Bournemouth, starting with refreshments before hearing several speakers, with time for discussion.
Join us to hear different perspectives from faith-based organisations on how faith, religion and organisations might view and address climate change, as well as from researchers working on solutions.
World-leading climate communicator Katharine Hayhoe has said that the most important thing you can do about climate change is talk about it –to friends, family, colleagues and politicians.
Faith and climate change awareness are both important factors in how many people think and live. However, despite some efforts from faith-based organisations (FBO) such as Christian Aid, Tearfund, there is more that could be done to tackle climate change from a faith perspective.
Dr Festus Adedoyin (Lecturer in Computer Science, with a focus on economics) , Maureen Kehinde (Lecturer in Leadership and Organisational Behaviour), Dr Osikhuemhe Okwilagwe (Senior Lecturer in Strategy).
