On and off screen diversity: Why does it matter?

What’s it about?

Have you ever thought why diversity matters in the cultural industries, or how cultural representations about race are made? This event will answer these questions and explore with you how things can be done better. The event will be divided into two parts and delivered in conversation with cultural industry partners leading on these issues. The first will consider racial and religious representations on screen with The Riz Test. The second will explore with Creative Access how diversity is crucial behind the scenes in the production of culture. We’ll discuss how we can work together for a more equitable and representative culture.

Who’s leading the event?
