Over the past 50+ years, psychologists have worked to understand love, and how healthy romantic relationships contribute to happiness and well-being. Psychologists now know some of the most important ingredients necessary for happy romantic relationships to last, including the best ways to start a relationship off strong and the best ways to keep relationships fulfilling over time. This event brings together experts in the psychology of relationships from around the UK to share some of the most cutting-edge research on building better romantic relationships. This webinar will comprise an introduction, brief presentations from the experts, and then a panel Q+A with the audience.
In an age where we all—especially young people—are bombarded with (often conflicting) information on social media about romantic relationships, understanding which information is supported by science is incredibly important. Attendees for this event will learn about the key, evidence-based ingredients that make happy romantic relationships last. They will also have opportunities to ask questions of established experts in the psychology of relationships.
